Who we are

This website is operated by Ardentech Solutions Inc. ("Ardentech," "we," "us"), a company based in New York. We provide SQL Server, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric consulting and support services. If you have a question about this policy or your information, email hello@ardentechsolutions.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the topic you select, and the message you write. If you choose to share them, we also collect your company name, your phone number, and details about your environment, such as your SQL Server version and when you need help. If you email us, we collect your email address and whatever you include in your message. Please do not send passwords, credentials, or sensitive data about your systems through the form or by email. We will arrange a secure way to share anything like that if it is needed.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. We use this to keep the site running, secure, and free of abuse.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are viewed, which sites send visitors to us, roughly what country, browser, and device visitors use, and how quickly pages load. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage to collect these statistics and does not fingerprint visitors through their IP address or browser details. As with any request to Cloudflare's servers, your browser sends Cloudflare your IP address when it loads the analytics script. We use these statistics only in aggregate to improve the website.

Cookies. We do not set cookies of our own, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. If that changes, we will update this page before it does.

Fonts from Google. Our pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, as it does for any request to its servers. Google's handling of that information is described in its own privacy policy.

How we use information

• To reply to your inquiry, by email or by phone if you shared a number, and discuss whether and how we can help.
• To scope, propose, and deliver services if you become a client, and to keep business records.
• To protect the website and our business, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not use it to send marketing email you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Formspree, the service that receives contact form submissions and delivers them to us. It may also collect technical details, such as your IP address, to operate the service and filter spam.
• Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, through Amazon Lightsail), which serves the website.
• Cloudflare, which provides the website analytics described above.
• Our email and business tools, which store the messages we send and receive.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers or accountants, where needed, and authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Information from client work

If you become a client, we may have access to your databases, reports, and other systems while delivering services. That access and the data in it are handled under our written agreement with you, including any confidentiality terms, and not under this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, and for longer where the law or a contract requires it. If an inquiry does not lead to work together, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to the information we hold to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, such as the right to object to or restrict certain uses, or to receive a copy of your information. To make a request, email hello@ardentechsolutions.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. By using the website or contacting us, you understand that your information may be handled in those locations.

Children

This website and our services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Microsoft's documentation. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. If we add other analytics tools or cookies, we will describe them here first.
